HVAC THERMONOMICS
Air conditioning and refrigeration units are typically a facility’s biggest energy consumers and can account for over 75% of the electric bill even when they’re new and operating perfectly. After just a few years, the oily refrigerant in these cooling systems start to rapidly lose efficiency. Over time, the oil in the refrigerant tends to collect all the impurities inside the system and build-up a stagnant insulating layer on the inside of the equipment. This layer impairs the efficiency of the heat transfer process throughout the systems, and restricts the flow of refrigerant much as cholesterol forms a build-up in the arteries of the human body. Reduced efficiency means those systems must run longer to adequately cool the facility, product or equipment, consuming a huge amount of energy.
The answer for this unchecked consumption is Thermonomics®, the only time-tested, field-proven, patented technology available for restoring and preserving the efficiency of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Thermonomics® is a scientifically formulated refrigerant enhancer that increases heat transfer in HVAC and refrigeration systems, and was awarded a US Patent after 20 years of development and testing. When Thermonomics is introduced into the air conditioning unit(s), it reduces friction in the flow of the refrigerant caused by stagnant oil film buildup and increases the oil’s ability to lubricate, and improves the heat transfer capabilities of the evaporator and condenser, thereby reducing energy consumption by up to 20% or more off an energy bill. Consequently, additional benefits are reduced run time which results in extended equipment life, and for every 1000 kWh saved, one ton of greenhouse gasses is prevented from escaping into the atmosphere.
